UMIACS staff will be taking our regularly scheduled maintenance window. A full list of our maintenance windows can be found on the main page of our intranet site[1]. This allows us to patch for security issues that have cropped up since our previous window. Attached is an iCal event that you may add to your calendar of choice for reminder of the maintenance window.

All UNIX/Linux machines in the institute will be rebooted during the maintenance window (RHEL5, RHEL6, RHEL7, Ubuntu). Services such as IMAP, web servers, and the print service will all see small interruptions while machines are rebooting.

All Microsoft Windows machines will reboot during the maintenance window. Windows services such as Exchange, printing, etc. will see small interruptions during the maintenance window.

All Apple Mac OS X machines will reboot during the maintenance window.
