Due to the number of recent Linux vulnerabilities which could have exposed sensitive key material, we will be deploying new SSH host keys on our user-facing Linux hosts out of an abundance of caution. These new host keys will be deployed during the upcoming outage on July 23, 2026.

When connecting over SSH to a Linux host which you have connected to previously, you may see a warning informing you that the host’s identification has changed. Please refer to our documentation on how to verify SSH host keys and resolve the warning [0]. We publish a list of SSH host key fingerprints for our most common hosts on the Intranet [1], and we publish a full list of SSH host key fingerprints nightly to our GitLab [2].
